Rev. Fr. Thomas Apil

Rev. Fr. Thomas Apil is an Archdiocesan Catholic Priest in the Archdiocese of Mombasa Kenya, and is practicing as a Priest and hospital Chaplain, as well as a psychosocial and spiritual counsellor in the area. He was ordained to the order of Catholic Priesthood in 1998, and studied Spirituality, Philosophy and Theology in St Mary’s Major Seminary, St Augustine’s Major Seminary and St. Thomas Aquinas Major Seminary respectively, all in Kenya. Fr. Apil is a graduate of the Kenya Methodist University and Servant of the Sick Training Center in Nairobi, and is accredited and certified in psychological and clinical counselling and supervising. He also trained in Human Sexuality, HIV/ AIDS testing and counselling at Amani Counselling Institute and Christian Institute of Human sexuality in Nairobi. Fr. Apil believes in the love of God to people of all faiths irrespective of their religion, social background, gender or sexual orientation.
