Benjamin Oh is an experienced interfaith leader and advocate serving as Co-Chair across the GLBTIQA+ Interfaith & Intercultural Network Australia (GIIN), Equal Voices, Rainbow Catholics Interagency Australia, and the Asia Pacific Rainbow Catholics Network. Their work is rooted in Global South–centred, member-led, and intersectional approaches that prioritise the lived realities of LGBTIQA+ (SOGIESC) people facing the ongoing impacts of colonisation, displacement, and cis-heteropatriarchal systems.
A queer person of colour, migrant, and member of a rainbow family, Benjamin has provided spiritual, pastoral, and organisational leadership within faith and interfaith communities globally. They bring extensive experience in religious dialogue, human rights and policy advocacy, media and global messaging, and the creation of safer, trauma-informed spaces. Their work spans both Global South and Global North contexts, supported by strong collegial networks and skills in public speaking, training, educational resource development, and movement-building.
