Rev. Joao Damiao Elias

Rev. Joao Damiao Elias is a Pastor of the United Methodist Church in Mozambique, and is currently the General Secretary of the Christian Council of Mozambique. He holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Pedagogy from Pedagogical university. Rev Joao Damiao Elias has been involved in Interfaith work for over 30 years, thanks to his first assignment as a Pastor in Northern Mozambique, where there was a large Muslim population. Along with addressing Interfaith issues, he is an advocate for young people and those who are marginalised.
